PennEngineering to add 70 Galway jobs with 14m expansion [Video]

US engineering group PennEngineering will add 70 jobs in Galway over the next five years after breaking ground on an expanded facility in the city.

The company will invest €14m to construct a new building with a state-of-the-art technology and training centre as well as testing laboratories and a customer experience centre.

The new roles will be in manufacturing, engineering, training and more, and Penn said there would be “diverse opportunities for local talent”. The government is part funding the 4,000 square metre expansion through IDA Ireland.
