Sinead O’Connor waxwork unveiled in Dublin before first anniversary of icon’s tragic death [Video]

IT was a case of Nothing Compares 2 U as a brand new likeness of Sinead O’Connor was unveiled at the National Wax Museum ahead of her first anniversary.

Owner Paddy Dunning recalled how he first met Sinead when aged 17, she arrived at his then rehearsal studio looking for a room to rehearse.

Paddy told The Irish Sun: “I knew Sinead was serious because she stayed in that room rehearing for two years. She even slept overnight in it.”

With so many phases in Sinead’s career, the Wax Museum boss said he decided to capture her performance in the video for global smash Nothing Compares 2 u complete with black dress.

Paddy said: “That’s the video that turned Sinead into a global superstar.”
