During his recent Q2 earnings call, Meta’s CFO, Susan Li, stated that India has become the largest market for Meta AI usage. All thanks to an estimated 535.8 million users in the country with a growth rate of 16.6% annually, India has the highest WhatsAppers in the world. However, the Meta executive did not reveal any specific usage metrics or data pertaining to the claim during her call on July 31. She remarked that users have been using the chatbot for billions of queries. Meanwhile, during the earnings call, Meta founder and chief Mark Zuckerberg remarked that Meta AI is on track to becoming the most used AI assistant by the end of 2024. He also highlighted the new ‘Imagine Yourself’ feature that allows users to generate AI-generated fancy portraits of themselves.
