“Dual launch’ coaster coming to Six Flags New England next year [Video]

AGAWAM, Mass. — Steam Punk fans will get a new thrill next year as Six Flags New England unveils a new type of coaster. 

Park officials said the Quantum Accelerator is designed to provide an immersive and thrilling experience from start to finish. 

According to a press release, riders will get on a steampunk-themed hover bike vehicle, straddling the seat and gripping handlebars as they lean forward for the ride. Following a series of twists and turns, at the midway point, a second launch will bring the vehicle to 45 miles per hour.
