Why does more data sometimes lead to more confusion?
I recently facilitated a design thinking workshop with two groups who have a century-long rivalry. After 3 hours of deep questions, challenging assumptions, and active listening, I left with a clearer understanding of the real issues at play. The stories shared were far more impactful and inspiring for creative solutions than any report could ever be.
In our data-driven marketing world, let’s not forget: reports don’t solve problems—people do.
