AKRON, Ohio — Drivers in Akron and Cleveland are seeing a drop in gas prices, with averages of $3.05 and $3.09 per gallon.
Prices went down 2.1 cents in Akron and 16.5 cents in Cleveland within the last week, according to new data released early Monday morning by GasBuddy.
For some added context, Cleveland’s prices are currently 40.7 cents cheaper than a month ago and 42.9 cents lower than a year ago.
The national average, meanwhile, now stands at $3.22 per gallon after falling 7.2 cents in the last week. This is down 22.5 cents from a month ago and 58.8 cents when compared to a year ago.
