Laws for the lawless: Australia cracks down on tech giants’ misinformation [Video]

Australia has introduced new legislation that cracks down on false content and fake news shared on major digital platforms.
In response, tech billionaire Elon Musk has described the government as “fascist”.
But the Australian government says the laws will rein in what it calls “borderless tech giants.” by targeting deliberate lies that damage the integrity of elections and public health.
