In not-so-surprising news, several senior staff members stepped down from Lt. Governor Mark Robinson’s gubernatorial campaign over the weekend.
As reported by WTVD, the campaign announced on Sunday that senior advisor Conrad Pogorzelski, campaign manager Chris Rodriguez, finance director Heather Whillier, and deputy campaign manager Jason Rizk all stepped down from their positions.
“I appreciate the efforts of these team members who have made the difficult choice to step away from the campaign, and I wish them well in their future endeavors,” Robinson said in a statement. “I look forward to announcing new staff roles in the coming days.”
The announcement comes days after a bombshell report from CNN, claiming that Robinson made several lewd and inflammatory comments on an adult website’s message board over a decade ago.
