Blighted building collapse goes viral after smashing social media-influencer’s car [Video]

NEW ORLEANS — Alex Robinson’s car still sits parked in the rubble.

“I turned the corner right there and noticed something was on my car,” New Orleans-based content creator Alex Robinson said.

Her car was covered in bricks and debris from a building that collapsed on Oretha Castle Haley Blvd.

“Once it set in, I just crouched down and started crying,” Robinson said.

On Saturday, the well-known social media influencer shared the aftermath with her over thirty-five thousand followers

“I told them, I’m sorry I’m in shock,” Robinson said.

Two days later, she says NOPD finally allowed her behind the caution tape. There she found her entire back seat and everything inside of it coated in debris and everything inside of it coated in debris.
