Diddys Streaming Numbers Increase Following Arrest [Video]

Diddy‘s streams have increased significantly amid news of the embattled mogul’s sex trafficking and racketeering arrest.

According to a report from CBS News on Monday (September 23), industry data and analytics company Luminate confirmed an 18.3% increase in on-demand streams during the week of his arrest compared to the prior week.

This tends to happen when a music maker is dominating the headlines, even if it’s for a negative reason like Diddy or, previously, R. Kelly. Following the premiere of the Lifetime docuseries Surviving R. Kelly in 2019, the singer’s streaming numbers on Spotify increased by 16%.

As for Diddy, an old interview where he details his “kinky” parties has resurfaced following his arrest.
