Former Lebanese brigadier general on Israel-Hezbollah conflict [Video]

Tensions have ramped up between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon in recent days. More than 100,000 people in Lebanon have been displaced by the Israeli strikes, according to official data released by Lebanon. Bahaa Hallal, former brigadier general in the Lebanese Army, shared his views on the Israel-Hezbollah conflict. He said that the Israeli attack on Lebanon has multiple objectives. “The primary goal is to terrorize citizens in order to induce what is known as psychological and cognitive collapse,” he said. Hallal also appealed to the international community to assist the people of Gaza and Lebanon amid large-scale civilian casualties due to Israeli attacks.
