Alton Marquette showed evidence of their food collection efforts, despite the fact that it’s a short week – there’s no school on Monday and Friday!
Students say they collected money to buy canned goods during lunch periods and allowed donated food items for admission to volleyball games.
Alton Marquette Senior Grace Stoverink said, “I know we posted a lot on the Instagrams and the Facebooks just to get as many canned goods as we possibly could.”
Jude Keller, another senior, said, “I saw on the local on our local news program they put on ‘Alton Marquette against Althoff – canned goods.’”
