Academic Achiever of the Week: Briley Hupp [Video]

NEW MATAMORAS, OH (WTAP) – Briley Hupp is a senior at frontier high school currently holding a 3.7 GPA and is also taking college credit classes for his future.

He said the success in the classroom will help him set up for successes in the future.

“I want to make sure I get a good future and a good scholarship,” Hupp said. “I know good grades are important for getting into college.”

Briley’s favorite subject during his time at Frontier has been science because of the topic of seeing things work.

“It’s always been the one of the things that just interested me the most,” Hupp added “Just to see how things in the world work and try to learn more about stuff.”

Outside of school probably puts in this time by either coaching basketball with one of his friends, or teaching others with CPR classes with his dad.
