Atlanta rapper T.I. retiring from performing [Video]

ATLANTA — Atlanta rap legend T.I. has officially announced he will retire from performing at the end of this year. 

During a Thursday appearance on Atlanta radio station 96.1 The Beat’s “Rari at 2” show with Young Dro, the “Whatever You Like” rapper confirmed his final performance will be in Atlanta at the station’s annual Jingle Ball on Dec. 19 at State Farm Arena. T.I. is set to headline alongside T-Pain, Sexxy Red, Saweetie, Khalid, Tinashe, The Kid Laroi, and more. 

“I appreciate y’all for offering me my last working gig because I do not need the money anymore and I will not be performing,” he said. “I don’t want to do it anymore… I don’t want people to pay me to hop around and sweat for their entertainment anymore.”
