MOSSVILLE (25News Now) – This week’s One Class at a Time award goes to a teacher who is not only a leader but also an advocate for social-emotional learning.

Kelli Brabson plays a key role in teaching students how to manage stress, build emotional resilience and tackle the challenges they face daily.

“There’s always resources that you can buy like S.E.L books and S.E.L games and math manipulatives and good read-aloud stories,” she said. “I try to read aloud to kids in classes as much as I can so maybe just building up that library.
