Former NFL defensive end Chris Canty blasted New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers on Thursday during a segment on ESPN Radio’s Unsportsmanlike.
Canty, who spent 11 seasons in the NFL playing for the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, and Baltimore Ravens, revealed that he believes Aaron Rodgers is a “cancer” in the New York Jets’ locker room.
“The last couple of years in Green Bay, we suspected that Aaron Rodgers could be a little bit toxic, especially with a young team,” Canty told co-hosts Evan Cohen and Michelle Smallmon. “I had no idea that it would be this bad. I mean, this guy is like a cancer that has metastasized within the New York Jets organization. And I don’t know how they fix it.”
