Jamey Johnson Releases New Album ‘Midnight Gasoline’ [Video]

After 14 years, country music fans are finally getting a new solo album from Jamey Johnson. Today, the acclaimed singer-songwriter releases ‘Midnight Gasoline,’ his first studio album with Warner Music Nashville. To accompany the release, CMT debuted the music video for the album’s single, ‘Someday When I’m Old,’ which is airing across CMT platforms, including a major feature on the Paramount Times Square Billboard.

The music video, which Johnson conceptualized and executive produced, features him giving advice to a younger version of himself. Directed by Joel Robertson, the innovative video uses a blend of AI technology and post-editing to depict both young and current-day Johnson. Through advanced AI processing, photos of Johnson from his youth were digitally “de-aged” and projected onto a stand-in actor, creating a seamless visual of his younger self.
