Author DeWitt Gilmore Sues Diddy, Claims Rapper Tried To Kill Him [Video]

DeWitt Gilmore, a writer who goes by the pen name Relentless Aaron, has filed a lawsuit against Sean Combs, AKA Diddy, alleging the rapper tried to kill him in 1996. In an new interview on Banfield Tuesday night, he recalled the night in question and spoke out against celebrities staying silent.

Gilmore, the author of The Night Puff Tried To Kill Me, says Diddy was just an intern for rapper Andre Harrell when they met – a concept that shocked host Ashleigh Banfield.

“I wasn’t involved in the East Coast, West Coast thing, but I was wanting to support and so we got down to a club called Downtime in downtown Manhattan, not far from Herald Square,” DeWitt Gilmore explained to Banfield.
