CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) -Students at Isaac Newton Christian Academy in Cedar Rapids recently took part in their schools first entrepreneur fair.
Students used their talents to make their own products.
“I kind of made this book that I’ve been working on before. I was writing chapters on it and my dad and mom, everyone in my family helped me out to finish it off,” said Ethan Magstadt, a 6th grade student.
The products were sold at the entrepreneur fair during an event for grandparents.
“I learned kind of a little bit of team building because I had to like share tables with people and like interact with other entrepreneurs so that was really nice,” Anna Bennett said, an 11th grade student.
18 middle and high school students took part. Jennifer Ziegler, a parent at the school, helped organize the fair.
“I was very impressed with the students, just their professionalism, with the quality of the products,” Ziegler explained.
Bennett already runs her own business.
