SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – A Spartanburg ice cream shop announced it is closing after more than eight years in the community.
The owner of Hub City Scoops posted on Facebook that they have made the difficult decision to close their doors for good on Nov. 23.
“This decision was not made lightly, but it is time for this change,” the letter to customers said. “I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support, your smiles, and your loyalty over the years.”
The show will be open on Friday from noon to 8 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
The owner added: “Keep supporting local, it makes all the difference to small businesses!”
FOX Carolina featured Hub City Scoops on Access Carolina in June. The segment from our previous coverage is in the video player above.
