Netflix is set to bring to life one of the most celebrated novels in history, One Hundred Years of Solitude.

The iconic novel by Garcia Marquez, first published in 1967, traces the saga of a family from the mythical town of Macondo, haunted by a curse that spans generations. With over 50 million copies sold and translations in more than 40 languages, the book’s adaptation is touted as one of Netflix‘s most ambitious Latin American projects.
