Newly-elected TD AXED from party with immediate effect days after election over ‘incorrect info’ on 199k shares [Video]

A NEWLY-elected TD has been suspended from his party just days after the Election 2024 after giving false information to the media about when he sold shares in a US company which supplies AI tech to the Israeli military.

Social Democrats TD Eoin Hayes pulled off a shock when won a Dail seat in Dublin Bay South, ousting Sinn Féin’s Chris Andrews.

Hayes worked for Palantir Technologies, of which the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) is a major client, between 2015 and 2017.

During a press conference with the re-elected and newly elected Social Democrats TDs today, Hayes said he was given shares as part of his compo package.

He said he sold the shares after he became “greatly concerned” about the company’s relationship with the IDF.

However, he would not confirm when he sold them or when he became concerned about the relationship.
