Morgan Wallen‘s attorney issued a statement following the singer’s plea hearing and sentencing on Thursday (December 12th).
Wallen was arrested in Nashville in April after allegedly throwing a chair off of Eric Church‘s Chief’s bar. The chair landed a few feet away from two Metro Nashville police officers standing on the ground below.
The “I Had Some Help” singer’s original charges included three felony counts of reckless endangerment and a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Wallen’s case would move on to a grand jury. However, his attorney later revealed that Wallen would enter a plea in court.
Wallen pled guilty to two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment during a plea hearing on December 12th. These counts were reduced from their original felony status.
