GRANTS PASS, Ore. β Eight years ago, Brad Converse faced a tough decision: move from Grants Pass to Virginia with his family, or quit his job and start over.
“Before this, I was working as a mechanical engineer,β Brad Converse told NewsWatch 12. β[I was] designing military equipment to survive nukes, doing all sorts of research and development.”
Now, Converse uses his engineering skills to make custom putters. He digitizes artwork, laser engraves it onto cured wooden blocks and hand paints each piece with ultraviolet resin. The combination of personalization, beauty and performance have spread far and wide throughout the golf community.
A Bradley Putter has made itβs way into the bags of actor Bill Murray, Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Todd Helton and Super Bowl Champion Russell Wilson to name a few.
