The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the world’s largest tech show, featured a plethora of artificial intelligence.
The tech that got a lot of attention is a human-like robot named Aria. While Aria doesn’t walk she does make human motions and uses A.I. to communicate.
But unlike Siri or Alexa, Aria’s artificial intelligence includes memory and vision.
Andrew Kiguel, the CEO of Realbotix, is responsible for the creation. He said the uncanny robots do more than just answer questions.
“They’ll be able to recognize you, recognize an object you’re holding, remember your prior conversations, and have a personal interaction bond with you.”
Companion robots are gaining more popularity, with more available and affordable options that look like cartoons or animals.
