12 Health Trends Americans Predict Will Take Off in 2025 [Video]

As 2025 begins, a new study has revealed the health trends Americans believe will dominate the year—from cutting out processed foods to utilizing AI.

The online survey of 2,000 Americans, by Talker Research on behalf of health and wellness company Pendulum, took place between December 10 and December 16, 2024.

Processed foods are firmly in the firing line as 34 percent of people predicted cutting them out would be the most common health trend this year, closely followed by healthy aging activities like fitness routines and skincare regimens aimed at longevity.

Gut health and digestion improvements tied with wearable technology (both at 22 percent) as key areas of focus, with many Americans increasingly aware of the role gut health plays in overall well-being.

In addition to dietary and holistic health approaches, respondents predict that AI-powered health care tools will continue to grow in popularity, with 21 percent foreseeing more AI in health care.
