That said, we don’t think Data Engineers are going away any time soon, in fact, good engineering will put you in the right place to take advantage of some of these huge leaps forward. But you SHOULD be looking at your current workload and finding opportunities to automate, you SHOULD expect a fundamental shift in how you spend your time.
