A Florida bill could end in-state tuition for undocumented students in the state [Video]

The Florida bill could effect over 40,000 students if signed into law.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A bill proposed by Florida Sen. Randy Fine could repeal in-state tuition costs for undocumented students in the state of Florida.

Sen. Fine, who was endorsed by Donald Trump for Florida’s 6th Congressional District, tells First Coast News that undocumented students should pursue a higher education in their place of origin and that those funds could be used elsewhere.

“I think its immoral to ask Floridians to come up with $45 million to give away to illegal immigrants to go to college when they’re struggling to pay for their groceries and their insurance premiums. Illegal immigrants should go to college where they’re from, not in the United States,” Fine tells First Coast News
