ALDOT project to enhance traffic signals on major Mobile intersections [Video]

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Alabama Department of Transportation released that the City of Mobile and Mobile County will work together to help retime 174 traffic signals along major interstates in the county.

The project will begin Aug. 14 for the first wave, which will consist of 66 traffic signals retimed.

“I believe it’ll help some folks out,” local driver Austin Busby said. “Some lights are too long; some are decent.”
