The View’s Alyssa Farah Griffin audibly scoffed as Joy Behar continued to question why voters re-elected Donald Trump on Friday.
“I don’t know what people were thinking when they voted for him,” Behar exclaimed during a discussion of Time Magazine‘s announcement that Trump had been named its Person of the Year for 2024. The remark caused Griffin to scoff and look out to the audience.
“I mean, this one statistic got to me,” Behar continued:
BEHAR: He [Trump] lost, during his term, 200,000 manufacturing jobs. He lost them. Joe Biden added more than 775,000 jobs —
GRIFFIN: But, it’s —
BEHAR: And people voted for Trump. I think that they have been misinformed —
SARA HAINES: He’s a salesman!
