Next Wednesday, Nov. 13, Vieux-Hull’s Minotaure will host the Atantis Jazz Ensemble, promising a spirited concert set filled with the band’s signature blend of modal, mystical jazz.

The local group features a powerhouse lineup: Ed Lister on trumpet, Zakari Frantz on alto sax, Pierre Chrétien on the Fender Rhodes keyboard, Chris Pond on bass and Mike Essoudry on drums. Known for their explorative soundscapes and deep grooves, these musicians create an immersive experience that’s both hypnotic and reflecting, blending soul jazz with a modern, cinematic twist.
