DETROIT (WWJ) — A whole new, futuristic way to watch sports is coming to Detroit.
Bedrock officials on Friday announced that Cosm, an immersive technology, media and entertainment company that has been turning heads this year, will bring its Shared Reality live sports and entertainment concept to Cadillac Square in Downtown Detroit.
Videos of Cosm’s two venues in Dallas and Los Angeles have been going viral this fall, showing fans taking in various games as if they’re sitting in the front row, including when Michigan hosted Texas at the Big House back in September.
Dan Gilbert, chairman and founder of Bedrock, called the concept “the future of sports and entertainment.”
