BHSUs Mark Nore: transition from coach to athletic director [Video]

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Black Hills State University’s Mark Nore lead the Women’s Basketball team for 22 seasons, now he’s leading the entire athletic department.

The new athletic director was chosen in April of this year after Nore announced BHSU women’s basketball alum, Rachel Erikson, to lead the Yellowjackets.

“I kind of feel like a grandpa,” Nore said, “I’m really proud, and they’re in great hands.”

The women’s team is 7-3 this season and the men are 6-5. Both teams have a game on Saturday, Dec. 14.
