MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCSC) – To kick off this holiday season, Boone Hall Farms held its fourth annual Christmas Tree Festival, but it was the first year where admission and activities are free to the community.
The 2024 Christmas Tree Festival offered free crafts, rides and pictures with Santa because of their partnership with Starling Chevrolet.
However, Event Director Ryan Neal says it goes far deeper than a marketing strategy and that it’s really the reason for the season.
“It’s about being together. You know every family is different, and every story is different. We are really lucky to watch those stories unfold,” Neal says.
In fact, one of Boone Hall’s farmers, Erik Hernandez, says part of their main mission is to make sure all people get to enjoy their events.
Hernandez says being able to watch families make memories is the root of it all.
