CALIFORNIA – Governor Gavin Newsom Tuesday announced a special partnership between the State of California and tech firm Nvidia to help provide better access to what tech companies use to students in college.
The statewide partnership between California and Nvidia will bring AI tools to community colleges, with the hope of expanding access to the tools to both the California State University and University of California systems.
Officials say that the partnership aims to give students more access to the technology that tech companies are using and to teach students how to use it.
Over the next decade, officials say that jobs including artificial intelligence are projected to grow around 13 percent, which is the second fastest of any industry.
