Charlamagne Tha God said he was baffled to see people celebrating the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on Friday’s edition of The Breakfast Club.
The host said Thompson’s murder accomplished nothing but to leave two children without a father and see the executive’s alleged killer jailed for life.
Charlamagne also opined the 50-year-old’s murder allegedly by Luigi Mangione last week outside the New York Hilton Midtown in Manhattan would lead to no health insurance reforms.
“I just don’t understand why everybody making so light of the UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson getting killed,” he said. “All I see is a father walking in New York City to go to his job, and he got gunned down.” Charlamagne continued:
