Cleveland Public Library extends immersive floral exhibit The Archive through Aug. 3 [Video]

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Due to overwhelming popularity, Cleveland Public Library has announced the extension of “The Archive” until Aug. 3. The exhibit, located in the Main Library’s Brett Hall, has attracted more than 85,000 visitors since its debut.

In response to the high demand, the library will open Brett Hall to the public on Sundays from noon to 4 p.m., allowing visitors to experience the exhibit seven days a week. Extended hours will only accommodate exhibit viewing, with no other library services available during the extended Sunday hours.

“The Archive” features more than 500,000 preserved flowers suspended from Douglas Fir beams, created by world-renowned artist Rebecca Louise Law. The exhibit is funded by the Lockwood Thompson Fund, which enables the library to showcase innovative and thought-provoking temporary works of art that complement its broad range of cultural programming.
