CONOR McGregor has been dropped from a promo with a video game company – the first such blow to the star after his civil rape case concluded last week.
While calls to boycott the Irish fighter’s booze and merchandise ranges are growing, video games giant IO Interactive, which publishes the Hitman franchise, tonight severed ties with the shamed star.
IO Interactive announced it was dropping all content featuring McGregor in light of the ruling.
The Danish firm said in a statement: “In light of the recent court ruling regarding Conor McGregor, IO Interactive has made the decision to cease its collaboration with the athlete, effective immediately.
“We take this matter very seriously and cannot ignore its implications. …
