CORALVILLE, Iowa (KCRG) – A home health care services group held an event at its Coralville location on Aug. 7 to make sure its employees have school supplies for their children.
Cornerstone Caregiving provided supplies like crayons, notebooks and pencils.
It also held raffles for books, education toys and other items.
Angeline Ollie, an employee at Conerstone Caregiving, is a single mom of four. She said she’s grateful for the help.
“I think they were really good,” Ollie said. “I think this was very awesome for this. Especially for needy families that need a little bit more help assistance. I thought this was a very good idea. Very helpful.”
Cornerstone Caregiving also took special requests from caregivers attending college on something which would help them.
