Across the U.S., a number of states are now seeing “high” or “very high” levels of coronavirus in their wastewater testing, according to recent data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
It marks the biggest surge in COVID-19 since last winter and it’s also led to an uptick in the number of hospital emergency room visits across the country.
