Ben Hunt is Principal at Eastside Elementary in Dalton, Georgia. He goes beyond the normal principal duties with lots of creative programs for students, and is nominated for the national ‘Life Changer of the Year’ award.
“Our goal is to make every day special,” Hunt said. “I tell the teachers over and over again that we’re in the opportunity business. Not only do we have an opportunity to make a difference, but also we are opening a door for for kids and for their families.”
Tollis Bond, a teacher at the school, nominated Hunt for the award.
