SAN ANTONIO — Visitors coming to the Alamo Friday are now able to experience what life was like in the past with the help of new technology.
It’s part of a new immersive digital reality they created where you can see different historical eras of the Alamo right from where you’re standing.
All on a tablet.
At the Alamo Long Barrack building, you’ll be able to scan a QR code with the tablet and see what the Alamo looked like in 1756 all the way to the early 1900s.
You can interact with people and objects on the screen. It even has a scavenger hunt mode among other unique activities.
The Alamo partnered with Histovery, based in Paris, to put this together in eight months.
