John brings over 25 years of experience in digital marketing, having scaled global agencies and SaaS ventures. He is the CEO and founder of ASK BOSCO®, an AI marketing platform he co-founded with Bonamy Grimes, which revolutionises how brands and agencies use performance and e-commerce data to optimise digital marketing investments. John also leads Modo25, a top performance marketing agency known for its Google Premier Partner status and its use of ASK BOSCO® to enhance decision-making and transparency. Modo25 ranks 5th among the ‘Best Companies to Work For,’ and John is recognised as a BIMA100 Top Agency Leader/CEO. Based in Yorkshire, John is married with two teenage daughters and a Labrador. He is also on a global cycling journey from London to Sydney to raise funds for the Ugandan orphanage 1moreChild, a cause that reflects the charitable values of both ASK BOSCO® and Modo25.

James Smith
VP EMEA – ThoughtSpot
James began his career in Business Intelligence at Blueprint after earning an economics degree from Newcastle University. Witnessing the transformative power of data first-hand, he pursued this mission passionately. At Blueprint, he sold BusinessObjects and, after the company’s acquisition by NTT Data, joined Tableau for the second wave of data analytics. Initially an Account Executive for financial services, James progressed to lead Tableau’s Enterprise New Business team and eventually managed Tableau’s UK&I operations, overseeing a team of 120 and $100M ARR. Now at ThoughtSpot, James is excited to drive innovation in data and analytics in EMEA. Outside of work, he lives in Henley-on-Thames with his wife, Lily, and their two children, Molly and Freddie. A keen golfer with a scratch handicap, he also collects gin and supports Newcastle United, Northampton Saints, and the Indianapolis Colts.
