A panel discussion at Mercyhurst University featured professors from different backgrounds giving their opinions to and answering questions from students about where Artificial intelligence (AI) will take us moving forward.
The different perspectives on the technology were welcomed by the professors who believe AI does help society, but also warn that there is a need for AI guardrails.
One Mercyhurst University student, Bleu Gavadin, said she had some concerns with AI being abused in the classroom.
Dr. James Snyder, philosophy professor at Mercyhurst University, said AI is there to help not hurt us.
