Gavin Rossdale’s Playlist for Bush’s Tour, Constantine: Video

Our video interview series Mixtapes! is back, this time with Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale revealing his musical tastes by creating a completely random playlist based on our unvetted prompts.

As the Bush frontman himself phrases it, Consequence put Gavin Rossdale to work in the latest edition of Mixtapes! “I dive in here, find a situation, and basically give you a soundtrack for it,” he gamely explains as he examines our big ol’ fish bowl full of carefully curated prompts.

And Rossdale is equally careful in the curation of his impromptu playlist. Whether it’s putting on some Monty Python to assure his kid a misspelled tattoo isn’t the end of the world (“That’s an opportunity to do a blast-over of black work, which I like anyway”) or spinning “Free Fallin’” by Tom Petty when he finally gets a day off, the rocker knows just what to put on for any given situation.
