HARRISBURG, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – High school students in Harrisburg had a chance to see cutting-edge technology up close on Thursday.
Dakota State University’s Governor’s Cyber Academy Cyber Roadshow came to the school for a one-day event that introduced students to cyber concepts like programming, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
Organizers said that it was designed to spark interest in high-demand careers while making cyber education accessible.
The roadshow travels across the state and university leaders said their goal is to ensure students from all communities have the chance to explore the growing world of cybersecurity and technology.
