Homeowners concerned over proposed sale of Hammond North Condos [Video]

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Over 100 College Hill homeowners could lose their home before the year’s end due to a proposal recommended by the board to sell their building.

First-time homeowner Adrienne Moore Cornwell and her 16-year-old son are on the brink of homelessness after they were forced out of their Hammond North condo when a fire left it uninhabitable in 2023. She says she still has not been able to return home, but is still required to pay for it.

“I feel so lost right now. I am very heartbroken because this was my first time being a homeowner,” Cornwell told FOX19 NOW. “I have moved now three times. I have been paying rent mortgage and I stopped paying the HOA fees because I couldn’t afford it. I had to either put food on the table or be homeless.”
