How do you learn? You go to school, you read and you do your best to memorize. These are all difficult time-consuming processes. What if learning could be instantaneous?

Artificial intelligence (AI) experts are suggesting that learning may become obsolete in 20 years due to brain implants. Yes, you read that right: brain implants!

This isn’t straight out of a sci-fi film, it’s an actual possibility. For instance, a team from the University of Pennsylvania’s Computational Memory Lab has already successfully enhanced people’s memory capabilities by stimulating brain regions using electrodes. 

And then there’s Elon Musk’s Neuralink. The company hopes to one day merge computers with the human brain, a mighty achievement.
