Huge number of businesses not ready for new EU cybersecurity laws [Video]

Four in ten Irish businesses are not prepared for tough new EU cybersecurity laws that will come into force in a matter of days.

Companies will need to comply with the National Security Bill 2024 -NIS2 which comes into force on October 17th.

However, a survey of 160 professionals by Mason Hayes & Curran has shown a huge number of companies have not yet updated their cybersecurity polices.

NIS2, dramatically broadens the scope of regulated sectors and introduces tougher cybersecurity standards across the EU.
