OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Huskers are on the loose in New York City during one of the most magical times of the year.

For many, it will be their first trip to NYC.

“I see how the people are. I just want to know like how it is as like a New Yorker. How their energy is. I know they be talking about ”bevs” and all that stuff and I just be finding it funny. So it will be cool be around and to go visit Central Park and all that stuff,” Jacory Barney Jr., freshman receiver, said.

“They have some good pizza out there. Go see the Rockefeller Tree…I think is what they call it…I’m sure it will be a crazy experience. Something that we’ve never been able to see so I think it will be fun,” Ben Scott, senior center, said.
